Cat Urine Removal

If you have ever owned a cat, you know that no matter how well-behaved her or she is, accidents are bound to happen, one way or the other – and then you have to deal with cat urine removal, which can be very frustrating you don’t know how to do it right.

Here, I’m going to show you the appropriate natural cat care, so you can clean that smelly urine spot, and never have to deal with the smell again.

If the spot isn’t wet, make sure to wet it with a bit of water before you do anything else. Plaster the entire area with baking soda, and scrub it gently into the affected surface until it is filled with urine. Then vacuum the baking soda, and place some more down – do this until the baking soda stays perfectly white. After that, spray the area gently with vinegar, covering the infected area completely.

If you do this, everything should be fine. However, removing odor from male cat urine is the worst –, by far. If the above treatment didn’t work, try this one. A cat care magazine that I once read suggested it, and it works well without any cat care health products that are full of chemicals.

Pat the area dry with paper towels or a few old rags, ensuring that most of the urine is picked up from the floor. Use a scrub brush with firm bristles to scrub vinegar into the area until it is completely saturated. Then cover with baking soda, and leave on the area for up to two hours. Simply vacuum it away when you’re done, and say goodbye to that nasty smell!

Repeat once more over the carpet if the odor still clings in the atmosphere. The reason you should use vinegar is that its’ smell overcomes the odor from cat urine, and your cats aren’t very likely to urinate there again.

This also works if your cats have urinated on your clothing. Just ad a quarter cup of vinegar to your fill of laundry and it removes the scent, leaving them as good as new!
